THE MURDER CAPITAL OFFER LATEST SINGLE ‘THE FALL’ FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM ‘BLINDNESS’

Emerging from the depths of the ever-growing Dublin music scene, The Murder Capital have established themselves as one of the most exciting post-punk bands within their respective genre. After dropping their surprise release ‘Love Of Country’ as a 7” vinyl and download - all in support of Palestinian medical aid - along with previous singles ‘Words Lost Meaning’ and ‘Can’t Pretend To Know’, the Irish 5 piece are cementing their latest sound as one that could be their greatest yet.
Referencing their much-loved sound of 2019, with their debut album ‘When I Have Fears’, ‘The Fall’ perfectly encapsulated the anger and passion - with energetic guitar riffs and thrilling crescendos.
“I can’t be told, I can’t be dressed, I can’t be held, I can’t be fed, I can’t be whipped. The Fall is coming. The Fall is inevitable. The Fall is one finger over the self destruct button, while the other holds its pose in meditation.”
‘Blindness’ is the vividly realised, clear-sightedly ambitious new album from The Murder Capital. A record that’s both momentous and charged with momentum. That’s full of geography – of the mind, and of a Dublin-formed band whose members are now scattered around Ireland, London and Europe – yet bristles with the intense energy of an album finely wrought in three pacy weeks in the studio in Los Angeles. That’s intimate and simultaneously expansive. Eleven songs that don’t hang about in terms of grabbing the listener. It follows the critically acclaimed ‘Gigi’s Recovery’ and their debut album, ‘When I Have Fears’.
