DOVES - COLD DREAMING
Emerging with new music after the cancellation of their 2022 tour, in light of frontman Jimi Goodwin’s challenges with addiction, the Mancunian 3-piece are back with their highly anticipated latest record, ‘Constellations For The Lonely’.
Cold Dreaming feels like a psychedelic exploration of the barriers within life and music. Bending the limits of genre, Doves prove that even after 28 years in the game - they are still some of the finest instrumentalists this genre may have ever seen.
Dream-like in its production and creation, with the track being initially written 7 years ago, ‘Cold Dreaming’ offers a fresh approach to the classic Dove’s sound fans know and love, with the performance of twin brother Jez Williams on vocals, instead of Goodwin.
“Cold Dreaming is a song about forgiveness. Trying to forgive and move on.”
Ready to hit the road later in the year, Doves have sold-out a multitude of venues across the UK. However, with the missed appearance of frontman Jimi Goodwin in the lineup, twin brothers Jez and Andy Williams will be ensuring the show goes on, vowing to not let fans down.
After teasing fans with new material and performing some of their most loved hits in just 3 intimate shows at the back end of 2024, excitement is brewing surrounding their return to touring later in the year.
